GMAT Tutoring NYC provides, through this web site (the “Site”), the ability to use certain features, services and functions relating to the In-Person Private, Online Private and Classroom test preparation tutoring services offered by GMAT Services. The terms and conditions applicable to our Services are set forth in our User Agreement.

Your privacy is very important to GMAT Tutor NYC. This Privacy Policy sets forth our policies and procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing your information when using this Site and/or our Services.

Persons or users with permission to use the Service are defined as “*Registered Users. *” You may view portions of the Site even if you are not a Registered User of the Services. This Privacy Policy applies to our collection, use and disclosure of personal information from Registered Users of the Site, as well as from persons or users who merely visit the Site.

GMAT Tutor may collect and store the following information:

Information You Provide. When you become a Registered User of the Services, we collect some personal and financial information through our registrations forms, such as your name, telephone number, credit card or other billing information, e-mail address and home and business postal addresses. This information allows us to register you as a Registered User of the Services, to bill you for our Services, and to analyze your use of the Services.

Log Data. When you use our Services, we automatically record information from your computer or other device, its software, and your activity using the Services. This may include the device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, the web page visited before you came to the Site, information you search for on the Site, locale preferences, identification numbers associated with your devices, your mobile carrier, date and time stamps associated with transactions, system configuration information, and other interactions with the Service.

Cookies. We also use “cookies” to collect information and improve our Services. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer or other device. We may use “persistent cookies” to save your registration ID or account name and login password for future logins to the Services. In other words, no Personal Information is included in aggregate data. Aggregate data helps us understand trends in our users’ needs so that we can better consider new features or otherwise tailor the Services. This Privacy Policy in no way restricts or limits our collection and use of aggregate data, and we may share aggregate data about our users with third parties for various purposes, including to help us better understand our customer needs, to improve our Services, and for advertising and marketing purposes. When subscribed to the GMAT Tutor Course, GMAT Tutor NYC is able to track your progress by viewing anything you have completed from the study plan, including chapter readings, chapter tests, custom tests, review tests, and diagnostic tests. This data is used solely to help students as they progress through the course as well as to analyze how students are using the course. Additionally, we will use your personal information to send you personalized and relevant course related emails. 3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Sharing of Person Information. We will not give, sell, rent, share, or trade any of your Personal Information or any other data that you provide when using our Services to any third party, except as outlined in this Privacy Policy or with your consent.

Service Providers, Business Partners and Others. We may use certain third party companies and individuals to help us provide, analyze, and improve the Services (including but not limited to data storage, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, payment processing, and improvement of our Service’s features). Transactional Data. We use a token system to communicate with our third-party vendors. No credit/debit card and bank login credentials are stored by GMAT Tutor NYC. All collections are done through a third-party system, using a tokenized system for communication.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement Requests; Protection of GMAT Tutor’s Rights. We may disclose information to a third party (a) to comply with laws or respond to lawful requests and legal process, (b) to protect GMAT Tutor and its agents, customers, users, and others, including to enforce our agreements, policies, and terms and conditions of use, (c) to prevent fraud or abuse of GMAT Tutor or its users, (d) to protect GMAT Tutor’s property rights, and/or (e) to respond to an emergency, or protect the personal safety of any person, upon the good faith belief that such actions are necessary.

Business Transfers. This may include information concerning the content of your sessions, our assessment of your progress, specimen test results, and your self assessments and responses to surveys. If you personally pay for your use of the Services, without the involvement of your parents or a third party organization, we will not share your Personal Information.

Non-private or Non-Personal Information. We may disclose your non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as usage statistics for our Services.

4. Changing or Deleting Your Information; Data Retention

If you are a Registered User, you may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information provided in your registration or account profile by changing your “account information.” If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer are using our Services, you may update or delete your Personal Information by making the change on your account registration information.
